La pulitura

The industrial processing of raw rice in edible rice, begins with the cleaning of the product from all kinds of impurities' such as straw, stones, soil, weed seeds, etc.. This is done by a special machine called Tarara. One proceeds then the husking. Through the sbramini, which remove by rubbing the bracts siliceous (called "lolla"), we obtain what is commonly known as brown rice or husked. This operation and 'very delicate as it must be carried out so as not to fracture rice.

The Paddy

The "paddy" in turn makes further separation of husked rice from the beans which still possess the husk, then sending them back to the sbramino. A byproduct of husked rice and 'constituted by the "green grain" (beans or unripe more small), used especially in the livestock industry and obtained by calibration with special sieves window. The dehulling should be carried out so as not to fracture the rice.

The bleaching

Bleaching, consists in the removal of chaff, middlings and gem husked through the use of machinery just called bleaching machines. The operation of these machines and 'the following: the rice is introduced in the interspace between the two concentric cones (the internal rotating and with the abrasive surface), of which the whitening and 'composed; the husked are then removed, by rubbing, gem and chaff. with further steps is also deleted middlings. At this point it becomes necessary to further separate the product obtained by the so called "Broken" by alveolar separators.

With the optical separation you have further refining of rice based on the color of the grains: the rice reaches the examination of photoelectric cells, which identify the grains of different color by default standard. At this point through a puff of compressed air operated automatically stained grains are eliminated..
